Week 3 of Preschool

August 25-27

This week's theme was pets!  You got to learn about the letter P, the color blue and the shape of a circle.

This week you were the friend they got to learn about at school.  You got to pick 5 things that went into a bucket so share to your class about yourself.  You picked out a red crayon (your favorite color at the moment), your Mike (Monster's Inc is your favorite movie), your shark race car (favorite toy is race cars), and a picture of your kitties.

This week you made a peacock for mommy and a pirate for daddy.  You said your best friend at school is Lily.  No homework for this week!  Here are some pictures from Mrs Ann's Blog that have you in them!

Week 2 of Preschool

August 18-20

This week you worked on the letter F and the number 2.  You also continued to work on school routines.  Your theme for this week was Family.

As part of a homework assignment, you cut out and pasted pictures on top of a house drawing to tell about what we did as a family.  We had cats, loved to swim, had fun and so much more.

This week you made a Fish and had a letter F find.

You made a couple of friends this week.  You couldn't stop talking about Dexter and Andrew.  You also talked about a little girl named Lily.  There is another little boy named Jake that you also like to play with at school.  Here are some pictures from Mrs. Ann's Blog of you :)

Week 1 of Preschool

August 11-13

This week you had so much fun!! You learned about the letter M and the number 1.  You also worked on school routines.

You don't know anyone's names yet.  Or at least you won't tell mommy and daddy the names of the kids in your class.

You made little crafts for us, a mouse and a drawing of the letter M with marshmallows.  You had a find the letter M homework.  Here are a few pictures of you at school from Mrs Ann's blog.

You really did not like Pass the Pickle game! You made sure to let daddy and I know it.  But it looks like you had so much fun here!

Starting Preschool

August 11

Today is the day that you start Preschool.  I am almost in shock.  I keep telling myself there is no way that you can be 3 years old already.  I have decided that I want to start a school blog for you.  That way, 15 years from now, at your graduation, you will have a heck of a time going through all of your years.  I would like to keep this as a surprise to you, but of course, I don't know that it will happen.  You are a very smart little girl and I have never been one to keep things from you.  So, here are some details about your very first school experiences!!

Your first preschool (and hopefully only preschool) is Lafayette Academy Preschool in Floyd Knobs, Indiana

Your teachers names are Mrs. Ann and Mrs. Carol.  They have started a blog also to show parents what goes on during the school year.  You can be rest assured that momma will follow that one closely! mrsannsthrees.blogspot.com : Not even sure it will still be around come your 18th birthday!

This year you have a total of 14 students in your class and you are so excited.  We have signed you up for playdough club.  Which really just means momma will be making play dough a few times for your class.

I asked you on Friday, what you want to be when you grow up, your answer: Nurse like mommy...that's after you said a crocodile. I asked you the next day and you said Princess...Princess Bubblegum.  You always changed your mind.

You are 3 feet 2 inches tall and you weigh 27.4 lbs.

This is our week to bring snacks, we will be doing it more no less.  For day one we had yogurt and goldfish.  Day 2 we had little grape trees (Pretzels stuck in grapes).  Day 3 we had cut up apples and chocolate/vanilla chex cereal.

You are so excited to start this journey, but you are also excited because you REALLY want to start gymnastics.  Mommy's paid for the first month, but we haven't started just yet.  Mommy's so ready to see you grow in this part of your life.

I love you,
Mom
